If you have an iPhone I believe this simple security hack might be of help. I recently hid an Apple Airtag in my 2002. For $30 it is a basic form of lo-jack that uses bluetooth to ping its location when around iPhones. I believe it works worldwide. My thinking is many people have iPhones so even though this isn’t a perfect security solution it is worth the price. The battery supposedly lasts for one year and has a replaceable battery. For the price it seems like a simple way to know where my car is.
